It has been reported by Willow Court Facebook group member Matty Graham that Ward 2 had flames coming out of it at approx midnight last night. Matty reported that fire crews attended the scene. Even though Ward 2 has already been partially demolished it is such a shame to see

The Mercury Friday 9 June 1950 Hobart police are seeking information on William Cooke (20), who escaped from Lachlan Park; on Tuesday. He has fair hair and reddish complexion, is 5ft. 5in. high, and was wearing overalls, sports coat,  and gum boots. I wonder if they found him???
