Bush Inn Tunnel Entrance??

Many people swear that the tunnel once opened up in the Bush Inn’s cellar.

There have been many stories and rumors but no conclusive evidence.

When Assoc Prof Heather Burke was down last week investigating the tunnel/drain, she did manage to have a quick  look at the cellars under the Bush Inn.

I do not have an account of Heather’s initial thoughts but I was informed by a credible source that “The cellars there were explored by the archaeologists last weekend while there are some interesting things to be investigated further, there was no sign of a tunnel entrance down there.”

I guess we will have to watch this space to see what interesting things the archaeologists find!
