NEWS FROM THE PAST- Lachlan Park Escapee Sought

The Mercury Friday 9 June 1950

Hobart police are seeking information on William Cooke (20), who escaped from Lachlan Park; on Tuesday.

He has fair hair and reddish complexion, is 5ft. 5in. high, and was wearing overalls, sports coat,  and gum boots.

I wonder if they found him???
