Virus Video Series 17- Ward D (Derwent) Willow Court

We have now moved over to the opposite side of the Lachlan River.

Ward D or Derwent, is part of the Oval Precinct and is opposite the current site of Woolworth's New Norfolk.

On this day I was exploring Ward D for the first time with Aiden.

Ward D was a very different type of ward particularly in comparison to the other older Wards on site as it has some unique features such as:

  • Laundry shute
  • Carpet tiles
  • Communal Kitchen

I think its fair to say this Ward was for the more higher functioning patients.
