SOUTHERN Tasmanian projects aimed at injecting tens of millions of dollars into regional communities are in jeopardy after the Federal Government knocked back funding requests.
Federal Infrastructure Minister Warren Truss has announced stage two of the National Stronger Regions Fund amid a raft of criticism he was pork barrelling.
The Derwent Valley Council also missed out on funding for the restoration of Frascati House at Willow Court, a project aimed at creating conference facilities in the Derwent Valley.
