Just following on from a recent post on facebook about a book called “From Darkness to Light” A true Story by Carleen Paul.
I never forgot the first Paragraph in my story.
“I can Still remember my first look at the ward that they took me to at RDH. I walked into a so called day room and in armchairs………
around the outside of the room were people in straight jackets and tied to the heaters. They were screaming out very loudly. This would have to have been the scariest thing I had ever encountered in my life. I was then taken to a room where I was to sleep. I looked at the doors in the place. They had the biggest keyholes that have ever been made.”
