Open Day Wrap up

The Barracks Open day was a great success. Given the awful weather and fairly poor advertisement we were very surprised with the amount of visitors we had coming through gates which is very encouraging news for Willow Court. All in all we had 520 people, 30 people enlisting to be volunteers and raising approximately $300 towards the Willow Court fund I don’t think we could have asked for a better result at this very early stage.

 Thanks to everyone that made an effort to come along show your support and leave a comment.

 The Committee hope that in Spring we will have another Open Day with a few more wards open, sausage sizzle and the re-planting of the Willow Tree.

So between now and then I reckon volunteers will be contacted for working bees to get Willow Court in a presentable shape for the next Open Day.
