Timeline of Investigative Teams at Willow Court over the years
I thought I would create a bit of a timeline surrounding some of the Paranormal Investigation Teams that have dabbled in investigating the various Willow Court and Royal Derwent Wards over the years.
Willow Court has been labelled as one of Australia’s Most Haunted locations, due all the historic reports and some more recent ones. I think it’s fair to say that Willow Court Project and APIU really cemented Willow Court in the Most Haunted category, albeit that was not really our intent.
I will put it in order of the First to Last. Unfortunately I may have missed a team or two the in more recent years as there has been an influx of teams accessing of late, so please let me know and I will correct or add..
2007 To my knowledge Australian Paranormal Investigation Unit (APIU) were the Original team actively investigating Willow Court and still do to this day. I cannot find any evidence of any other team accessing Willow Court prior to 2007. Although I don’t doubt that there was mini investigations held by individuals during the time Willow Court was operational, especially during the Ward 5 incident. https://ausparanormal.com/
2007 Vive Cool City, I debated about adding these guys into the timeline, they are not really a Paranormal Team, but they produced a decent investigative style video for the time and did try to uncover its links to the paranormal, it’s for that reason they should at least get a honorable mention. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SjJyE1FY5s
2008 R.I.P Australia scored a huge feat by getting access to Ward C. Before this time to my knowledge no one else accessed Ward C legally and very few would have got in without permission.. 2010 Team Strigoi/Paranormal Tasmania teamed up with APIU on a joint investigation of the private Wards of Willow Court. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSfO4zfZgQo
2012 Saw the guys from Team Paranormal Australia (TPA) investigate some of the private Wards of Willow Court such as the Morgue and Nurses Quarters etc. These guys were the first team other than APIU to gain access to some of Haydn Pearces private Wards. https://www.youtube.com/user/TeamParanormalAus/search?query=willow+court
